Our client, a Federal Government department based in Civic, ACT, that protects Australia's international interests to support our security and prosperity, requires the services of an APS6 Web Data Specialist for a 12-month non-ongoing prospect.

Duties of the Web Data Specialist (APS6):

- Manage website administration, liaising with our external service provider to implement enhancements, conduct testing and support smooth backend operations.
- Maintain and update key data files that drive Australia’s public-facing international development transparency portal.
- Support data quality, transparency and governance improvements, helping strengthen how we manage, publish and use international development information.
- Translate business needs into practical technical solutions, ensuring website and data enhancements align with user requirements, accessibility standards and operational priorities.

Skills and Experience - Web Data Specialist (APS6):

- Advanced Excel skills and data management skills including formulas, data integration, validation and pivot tables
- Experience managing web platforms or supporting content management systems (e.g., GovCMS, WordPress) including content publishing, maintenance and quality assurance.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and coordination skills.




- Experience or demonstrated capability in data visualisation, data analytics or reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau or similar).
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently in a dynamic environment.
- An understanding of Agile delivery approaches and digital product or website development environments.
- Familiarity with issue management systems like Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with XML and HTML or capacity to learn
- Understanding of the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) data standards.
- Understanding of international development policy, programs or the broader development cooperation sector
- Knowledge of systems such as AidWorks, or comparable enterprise information management systems.
- Experience preparing guidance materials, user documentation or delivering internal capacity support.
