About the role

Impact Tree Solutions is seeking an Experienced Tree Worker EWP / Supervisor to join our growing team in Holmesville. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work with Director and lead tree care operations whilst maintaining hands‐on involvement in the field. As an experienced supervisor, you will be instrumental in ensuring safe, efficient and professional tree services are delivered to our clients. This role is crucial to the continued success of Impact Tree Solutions, as you will directly influence the quality of our work and the safety culture across all projects.

What you'll be doing

n

Lead and coordinate the work of tree crews on site, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest professional standards

n

Operate and supervise the use of elevated work platforms (EWP) for tree trimming, removal and maintenance tasks

n

Plan and assess tree work projects, determining appropriate methods, equipment and resource allocation

n

Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, company policies and industry best practices on all projects

n

Conduct pre-work site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards

n

Provide training, mentoring and guidance to junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge

n

Maintain detailed records of work completed,



hours worked and equipment used

n

Liaise with clients to discuss project requirements, timelines and any concerns that may arise

n

Perform general tree care operations including pruning, felling, mostly around powerlines.

n

Maintain and inspect equipment to ensure it remains in safe working order

n

Respond to emergency tree removal situations and storm damage assessments when required

n

What we're looking for

n

Minimum 2 years' experience as a tree worker in the electrical tree services sector (including outage / CAVC tree work)

n

Certification in arboriculture or a related qualification would be advantageous

n

Current Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket/certification

n

Valid MR or HR driver's licence

n

Current First Aid Certificate

n

Excellent understanding of health and safety legislation, including relevant safe work requirements

n

Proven supervisory or leadership experience managing small to medium-sized teams in a tree care or landscaping workplace

n

Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in challenging weather conditions

n

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients and manage team dynamics

n

Problem-solving ability and sound decision-making in dynamic work environments
