Our client is a well-established supply chain solutions and logistics support business, supporting the movement and management of pallets across a large network of customers throughout Melbourne.

They are currently seeking experienced HC Truck Drivers to join their Bayswater North operation. This is a customer delivery role servicing the Eastern suburbs, with occasional regional deliveries depending on operational requirements.

Start Time: 5am
n Finish Time: Between 1pm to 3pm
n Pay Rate: $46.65 per hour + Super + Overtime

Key Duties
n
n
- Completing HC customer deliveries throughout metropolitan Melbourne
n
- Driving predominantly across Melbourne's eastern suburbs
n
- Delivering pallets to a variety of commercial customer sites
n
- Completing occasional regional deliveries when required
n
- Following allocated daily delivery runs
n
- Conducting vehicle pre-start and safety checks
n
- Completing load restraint and strapping
n
- Ensuring loads are appropriately secured for transport
n
- Completing relevant delivery documentation
n
- Providing qualified customer service at delivery locations
n
- Following all transport and workplace safety requirements
n
n
About You
n
We're looking for experienced HC drivers who are comfortable completing customer deliveries and working across variable daily runs.
n
This is more than a depot-to-depot driving role, so candidates should be comfortable with the operational requirements associated with customer deliveries, including load restraint and strapping.

You Will Also
n
n
- Hold a current HC licence
n
- Have previous HC driving experience
n
- Be confident completing metropolitan customer deliveries
n
- Be experienced with load restraint and strapping
n
- Be reliable and punctual for early morning starts
n
- Be flexible with finish times depending on the allocated run
n
- Be willing to complete occasional regional deliveries when required
n
- Have strong customer service and communication skills
n
- Have a strong commitment to transport and workplace safety
n
- Be seeking consistent ongoing work
