Little Pioneers Early Learning Centre – Coffs Harbour NSW

Little Pioneers Early Learning Centre is seeking a qualified and experienced early childhood educator to join our team in Coffs Harbour, NSW. This is a full or part-time position (casual also available), offering the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children during their crucial early years. As a member of our early learning community, you will work in a nurturing, play-based environment that promotes child development, creativity, and social-emotional growth. This role is integral to our mission of providing high-quality childcare and education that supports families and helps children flourish.

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Planning, implementing and evaluating engaging educational programs that support children's learning and development across all developmental areas

Providing direct care and supervision to children, ensuring their safety, comfort and wellbeing at all times

Developing positive relationships with children and families, fostering a sense of belonging and community within the centre

Supporting children's physical, emotional, social and cognitive development through purposeful play and learning experiences

Maintaining accurate and detailed observations and documentation of children's progress and development

Collaborating with colleagues and families to ensure consistency of care and support for each child's individual needs

Following health, safety and hygiene protocols in accordance with regulatory requirements and centre policies

Contributing to a welcoming, inclusive and culturally diverse environment that celebrates all families





Participating in professional development and staying current with best practices in early childhood education

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need:

A Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent recognised qualification)

A Certificate III (or equivalent recognised qualification)

Current First Aid and CPR certification appropriate for children

A valid Working With Children Check (WWC)

Completed Mandatory Safety Training

A passion for working with young children and fostering their development and wellbeing

Excellent communication skills with both children and families

The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

A commitment to maintaining a safe, clean and inclusive learning environment

Flexibility and adaptability in responding to children's individual needs and interests

A genuine enthusiasm for continuous professional development and best practice in early childhood education

Prior experience working in an early learning setting or childcare environment is highly valued.
