n We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our client's team in Paraburdoo, WA on a 2:1 roster.
n This is a great opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Fitter looking for ongoing FIFO work, competitive rates and a solid roster.
n THE ROLE
n You will be responsible for carrying out mechanical maintenance, repairs and servicing across site equipment, ensuring machinery remains safe, reliable and operational.
n KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
n
n
- Perform preventative and breakdown mechanical maintenance
n
- Carry out inspections, repairs and servicing of mining equipment
n
- Fault-find and diagnose mechanical issues
n
- Complete mechanical installations, repairs and component change-outs
n
- Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
n
- Work safely and efficiently in line with site procedures
n
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and housekeeping
n
- Work collaboratively with maintenance and site teams
n
n
ABOUT YOU
n
To be successful, you will have:
n
n
- Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
n
- Previous experience in a mining, heavy industry or processing environment
n
- Strong mechanical maintenance and fault-finding skills
n
- Experience working with fixed plant/heavy equipment
n
- Strong commitment to safety
n
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
n
- Relevant mining tickets and site experience highly regarded
n
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
n
