To construct and/ormaintain Council's road network and other assets to required service levelstandards through the provision of skilled plant operations, in particular Grader,Roller, Water and Gravel Haulage, Loader, Excavator, Backhoe operations andLabourer support.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Operate a range of Council plant and equipment to construct and maintain the road network.
n
- Safely operate and maintain plant and machinery in line with OEM specifications and Council procedures.
n
- Complete daily servicing, maintenance and plant records to minimise downtime.
n
- Support road repairs, renewals, upgrades and general maintenance activities.
n
- Undertake general labouring, worksite preparation and clean‐up duties.
n
- Assist with traffic control signage and worksite setup in accordance with traffic control plans.
n
- Work as part of a multi-skilled team and provide support to other Council departments as required.
n
- Maintain accurate road construction, maintenance and plant documentation in accordance with Council requirements.
