EXCAVATOR OPERATOR

Northwest & Southwest Sydney | $48/hr + Overtime

n

We're currently looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to join a well-established civil contractor working across residential subdivision projects throughout Northwest and Southwest Sydney. This is a casual position with a genuine view to long-term work for the right person, with operators moving between various project sites as required.

The Role

n

You'll be working on residential subdivision projects, operating either 14T or 36T excavators and assisting with general civil earthworks across site.

n

Key duties include:

n

- Operating 14T or 36T excavators
n
- Excavation and bulk earthworks
n
- Residential subdivision works
n
- General civil and site works
n
- Trenching, battering and material movement
n
- Working safely around other plant and site personnel
n
- Maintaining a high standard of machine operation and site safety
n

About You

n

n




- Proven experience operating 14T or 36T excavators
n
- Previous civil construction or subdivision experience
n
- Strong understanding of site safety and procedures
n
- Reliable and punctual
n
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
n
- GPS machine control experience is desirable but not essential
n
- Own transport and relevant tickets/licences
n

Whats on Offer

- $48 per hour
n
- Casual employment with a view to long-term work
n
- Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm
n
- Time and a half paid after 8 hours
n
- Work across multiple sites throughout Northwest and Southwest Sydney
n
- Consistent work with an established civil contractor
