2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice - Electrotechnology Electrician

Essential Power Systems (EPS) is looking for a motivated 2nd or 3rd Year Electrotechnology Electrician Apprentice to join our growing team. This is a great prospect for an apprentice wanting to gain hands‐on experience across industrial electrical, generators and power generation, rather than doing the same work every day.

Key responsibilities

n

- Electrical installation, maintenance and fault finding
n
- Generator servicing, installation and commissioning
n
- Switchboards, ATS and temporary power systems
n
- Industrial and commercial electrical work
n
- Working both in our Cardiff workshop and on client sites
n
- Assisting qualified electricians and technicians on larger projects
n

About you

n

n




- Currently completing a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
n
- 2nd or 3rd year apprentice
n
- Current driver's licence
n
- White Card
n
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
n
- Reliable, practical and able to work as part of a team
n
- Interest in industrial electrical and power generation
n
- Willingness to travel and work away occasionally when required
n
- Variety of work – workshop, field service and project sites
n
- Hands‐on experience with generators from small units through to large‐scale power systems
n
