Senior Grain Marketing Advisor - South Australia

Grain Brokers Australia is a growing Australian business, working alongside growers to help them make better commercial decisions and build stronger farming businesses.

As we continue to grow and build the GBA business, we see South Australia as a key part of that growth moving forward.

We are looking for an experienced industry professional who wants to take ownership of our South Australian business and build it.

You will have the autonomy to grow the market, develop long-term client relationships and establish a strong GBA presence across South Australia, with a particular focus on the Yorke Peninsula and Eyre Peninsula.

Importantly, you will be doing this as part of a broader Australian team, with experienced people, strong market capability and the resources of GBA behind you.

The Role

You will take the lead on developing and growing GBA's South Australian business.

- Build and manage a strong portfolio of South Australian farming businesses.
- Drive new business across South Australia, including the Yorke and Eyre Peninsulas.
- Take ownership of GBA's growth and presence in the South Australian market.
- Build long-term partnerships with growers and help them make better commercial decisions.
- Understand each client's farming operation, production, storage, cash flow requirements and marketing objectives.




- Develop practical marketing strategies that give clients a clear plan throughout the year.
- Provide clear market insight and recommendations that growers can act on.
- Identify and execute opportunities across buyers, commodities and regions.
- Build strong relationships with growers, buyers and the broader agricultural industry.
- Work closely with GBA's advisory, brokerage and management teams across Australia.
- Have the autonomy to identify opportunities, make decisions and get things done.

Who We're Looking For

This role requires proven grain industry experience.

You may currently be working in grain brokerage, marketing, accumulation, trading, agribusiness or an advisory role.

More important than your current title is your ability to build relationships, win business and deliver commercial value to growers.

You will have:

- Strong experience within the Australian grain industry.
- A sound understanding of markets, pricing, buyers and supply chains.
- Strong knowledge of the South Australian agricultural sector and grower market.
- A demonstrated ability to develop new business and build long-term commercial relationships.
- The confidence to sit across the table from substantial farming businesses, understand their operation and add value.




- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to turn market information into clear recommendations.
- The drive to get on the road, meet growers and create opportunities.
- The ability to work with autonomy and take responsibility for growing a market.
- A team-first approach and the desire to contribute to a broader Australian business.
