About the Opportunity

Our client is a well-established building services business operating across Brisbane's commercial and mixed-use property sector. Due to continued growth, they're looking for an experienced Senior BMS Service Technician to join a high-performing technical team.

This is a genuine senior role — you'll be the go-to technical expert in office, trusted to work autonomously and deliver quality outcomes for a diverse commercial client base.

The Role

Day-to-day you'll be responsible for:

- Servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding on BMS systems across commercial sites
- Programming and commissioning using BACnet,



Modbus and IP-based control protocols
- Identifying and implementing building performance and energy efficiency solutions
- Diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues efficiently
- Liaising directly with facility managers and building owners
- Mentoring junior technicians where required
- Completing accurate service documentation and reporting

About You

- 5+ years' experience in BMS service and maintenance
- Extensive knowledge of IP protocols, networking and communications
- Strong understanding of controls protocols including BACnet and Modbus
- Experience with building performance and energy efficiency solutions
- Electrical license preferred Restricted electrical license is minimum requirement
- Excellent communication skills — confident dealing with clients on-site
- Current driver's license
- Self-motivated and able to manage your own schedule
