IFTAR is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Waiter to join our team in Merrylands, NSW. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our customers.

What you'll be doing

n

Greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly and skilled manner

n

Taking and processing customer orders accurately

n

Serving food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner

n

Ensuring tables are set up, cleaned and maintained to a high standard

n

Assisting with kitchen duties as required

n

Providing excellent customer service and resolving any customer queries or complaints

n

Adhering to all health, safety and hygiene regulations

n

What we're looking for

n

Previous experience as a Waiter or in a similar customer service role in the hospitality industry

n

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanour

n

Excellent time management and organisational skills

n

Good knowledge of food and beverage service

n





Ability to work well in a team and under pressure

n

Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling

n

Applicable food handling and safety certifications
