Wilmar BioEthanol is looking for a Pump Attendant to join our team at Yarraville, Melbourne. This is a permanent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on operational role and can confidently work around plant, equipment, products and loading operations.

n

As a Pump Attendant, you'll play an important role in the safe handling, movement, storage and dispatch of product, while supporting the day-to-day operation of the site.

n

What You'll Do

n

n
- Operating and monitoring equipment associated with product transfer, storage and loading operations
n
- Preparing and filling customer and company-owned IBCs, drums and pails
n
- Operating forklifts and safely moving materials and product around the site
n
- Loading road tankers in accordance with instructions and established procedures
n
- Receiving product from road tankers into storage and carrying out product methylation activities as required
n
- Conducting tank and product checks prior to tanker loading
n
- Taking samples and performing required quality control checks
n
- Assisting with filling meter calibrations and ensuring equipment is operating correctly
n
- Following operating procedures, work instructions and safety requirements
n
- Identifying and reporting operational issues, hazards, equipment faults and quality concerns
n
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and site cleanliness
n
- Supporting Safety Health and Environment (SHE) initiatives and continuous improvement activities
n
- Completing daily operational and administrative requirements
n

What We're Looking For

n





We're looking for someone with strong practical operating skills who can work safely and methodically in a process or industrial environment.

n

You'll bring:

n

n
- Experience in plant operation, production, manufacturing, processing, chemical handling, logistics or a similar industrial environment
n
- The ability to operate equipment safely and follow established operating procedures
n
- A robust understanding of workplace health, safety and environmental requirements
n
- Good attention to detail when handling products, completing checks and recording information
n
- The ability to identify abnormal operating conditions and elevate issues appropriately
n
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
n
- A self-motivated approach with good organisation and time management skills
n
- A High Risk Work Licence - LF Forklift
n
- A commitment to continuous improvement and maintaining high operational standards
n
- Experience working around tanks, pumps, pipelines, loading systems, process equipment or bulk liquid products will be highly regarded.
