Job Description

Help shape the future nursing workforce within Queensland's largest cancer service. Based within Cancer Care Services at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, this Nurse Educator role provides the opportunity to influence learning, career development and workforce capability across a highly specialised environment encompassing medical oncology, haematology, bone marrow transplant, radiation oncology and haemophilia services.

Working closely with nursing staff, multidisciplinary teams and education stakeholders, you will lead the design, implementation and evaluation of contemporary education programs that support clinical excellence and evidence-based practice. The role combines advanced nursing expertise with innovation, leadership and workforce development, helping to create a culture that values learning, professional growth and high-quality patient care.

About you

- Design, implement and evaluate nursing education and professional development programs that support workforce capability and high-quality patient care.

- Provide expert clinical and educational leadership within Cancer Care Services, promoting evidence-based practice and contemporary learning approaches.

- Support nursing staff through education,



coaching and professional development activities that enhance clinical skills, confidence and performance.

- Foster a positive learning culture by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, clinical leaders and education stakeholders across the service.

- Contribute to quality improvement, research, workforce development and service innovation initiatives that strengthen nursing practice and patient outcomes.
