Commissioning Technician / Site Manager – Integrated Security Systems | Leadership Role

BSMS Security is seeking an experienced Commissioning & Site Manager to lead the delivery of complex integrated security projects across commercial and government sectors.

n

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a senior technician ready to step up, or an experienced site manager with strong commissioning expertise.

n

About the Role

n

You will take ownership of projects from installation through to commissioning and handover, ensuring systems are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.

n

You will manage site teams, subcontractors and client relationships while providing high-level technical expertise across integrated security platforms.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Lead and manage allocated project sites from start to completion.
n
- Commission complex integrated security systems including:
n
- Access Control
n
- Intercom Systems
n
- Configure head-end systems and complete systems staging.
n
- Conduct FAT, SAT & OAT testing.
n
- Manage subcontractors and internal technicians.
n
- Attend site meetings and report project progress.
n
- Complete daily reporting and documentation in Simpro.
n
- Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and budget requirements.
n




- Provide mentoring and technical leadership to team members.
n
- Deliver professional client communication and project handovers.
n
- Complete ITP's & ASBUILT Drawings.
n

What We're Looking For

- Proven experience in commissioning integrated security systems
n
- Strong site management experience on commercial projects
n
- Ability to lead teams and drive project outcomes.
n
- High-level fault finding and technical troubleshooting skills.
n
- Experience managing timelines, budgets, and client expectations.
n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
- Class 2 Security Licence (SLED)
n
