About The Role

Are you looking to jump-start your career in payroll and finance? We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Entry-Level Payroll Officer to join an energetic team based on the city fringe of the southern suburbs. Working within a fun, dynamic, and dedicated team, this position offers a supportive environment where you will gain valuable hands‐on experience across the end‐to‐end payroll cycle. 3-6 month assignment with potential for extension and career advancement for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Processing high‐volume end‐to‐end payroll accurately and on time.
n
- Setting up new employee profiles and maintaining master data files.
n
- Interpreting awards, agreements, and timesheets.
n
- Managing payroll queries from employees with prompt and polite service.
n
- Calculating superannuation, leave accruals, and termination payments.
n




- Assisting with end‐of‐month reconciliation and payroll reporting.
n

What We're Looking For

- Previous exposure to basic payroll, accounts, or administrative functions (relevant qualifications or internship experience will be highly regarded).
n
- Solid numerical accuracy and sharp attention to detail.
n
- Good proficiency in Excel and general accounting/payroll software systems.
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
- A proactive, positive attitude with a genuine drive to learn and grow within a team.
