Concord Golf Club is a private members Golf Club established in 1899, located in the heart of Concord, this club features an 18-hole golf course, and club amenities including a cafe, courtyard, bar and dining areas for the enjoyment of club members, their guests, and visitors.

About the Role:

n

This part-time position (3 days a week /approx 24 hours pw) reports into the Finance Manager and is responsible for two key functions:

n

the end-to-end payroll for approximately 70 employees; and

n

the accounts payable and receivables function for the Club including member accounts, payments and processing.

n

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to;

n

Set up of new employees and oversight of employee documentation using the Employment Hero payroll and HR system

n

Processing the weekly payroll inclusive of leave, superannuation, payroll tax, journals and bank reconciliations

n

Responding to employee and Member queries

n

Receipting member payments, together with subscription billings

n

Management and reporting on Bank reconciliations and credit cards

n

Maintaining databases and tracking important deadlines

About you:

n





The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

n

Solid experience with payroll systems

n

An extensive background in Book-keeping

n

A passion for providing excellent customer service, displaying an enthusiastic can-do attitude.

n

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with a high level of attention to detail.

n

Highly competent with systems such as Microsoft word, excel etc, plus solid experience with Member data bases, payroll and accounting systems and is comfortable learning new technology.

n

Robust written and verbal communication skills.

n

Ability to interpret awards and an understanding of the Clubs Award is an advantage.

n

Must have Wednesday availability
