About Akari

Akari will bring a fresh and contemporary Asian Fusion offering to Liverpool Catholic Club, combining bold flavours, creativity and outstanding hospitality. As a key member of the kitchen team, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality dishes and helping establish Akari as a standout dining destination.

The Role

n

As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for running your section and ensuring every dish leaves the kitchen to the highest standard. Key responsibilities include:

- Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes with consistency and attention to detail
n
- Managing your assigned section during busy service periods
n
- Maintaining exceptional food presentation and quality standards
n
- Following food safety, hygiene and HACCP requirements
n




- Monitoring stock levels and helping minimise food waste
n
- Working collaboratively with the Sous Chef and wider kitchen team
n
- Contributing to a positive, organised and professional kitchen culture
n
- Supporting smooth day-to-day kitchen operations
n

n

This role involves evening and weekend work as part of a rotating roster.

About You

n

We're looking for a motivated hospitality professional who is passionate about food and delivering outstanding guest experiences. You'll bring:

n

n
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or experienced Demi Chef
n
- Experience in Asian, Asian Fusion or modern cuisine (highly regarded)
n
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of cooking techniques
n
- Excellent attention to detail and presentation
n
- The ability to remain calm and organised under pressure
n
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
n
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
n
- Sound knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices
n
- Relevant cooking or hospitality qualifications
n
