We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Health and Safety Trainee / WHS Trainee to join our team. Reporting directly to the HSE Manager, this entry-level role offers the perfect balance of paid, hands-on experience and a structured certificate-level qualification.

This is a excellent opportunity if you are interested in undertaking your Certificate III in Work Health and Safety or if you have completed your certificate III and looking to upskill into a Certificate IV.

Key Responsibilities:

- Document Control: Update, organise, and maintain safety databases, registers, and OH&S; policies.
n
- Assisting Inspections: Accompany senior safety officers on routine workplace walk-throughs and hazard checks.
n
- Training Support: Help set up and coordinate internal safety training sessions and keep attendance records.
n
- Incident Reporting: Assist in logging workplace incidents, injuries, and near-miss reports into the safety management system.
n
- Communication:



Answer basic safety queries from staff and promote a proactive safety culture across departments.

Key Selection Criteria & Qualifications:

n

n
- Completion of Year 12 or equivalent, with a strong eagerness to complete a vocational WHS certificate.
n
- Clear written and verbal communication skills to interact with staff and accurately document safety issues.
n
- Exceptional organisational skills and high accuracy when managing safety records and data.
n
- Familiarity with standard office software (Word, Excel, databases).
n
