Senior End User Computing Engineer – Azure DevOps and Microsoft Purview

Workplace: Primarily onsite

Contract: 12 months with up to 2 × 12-month extensions

Rate: Up to A$170 per hour including super

Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain Baseline clearance

We are seeking a Senior End User Computing Engineer to provide Level 3 engineering, automation and operational support across enterprise end-user computing platforms.

About the Role

This senior, EL1-equivalent role focuses on engineering, automation and service modernisation using Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, Microsoft Purview Information Protection and PowerShell.

Recent hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines and Microsoft Purview is essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Engineer and maintain complex enterprise EUC platforms.
- Provide Level 3 support for Windows, corporate devices, productivity services and remote‑access platforms.
- Develop automation and configuration‑as‑code solutions.
- Build and support Azure DevOps and Azure Pipelines deployment processes.
- Implement upgrades, migrations, application deployments and patching.
- Monitor endpoint,



application and platform performance.
- Diagnose complex problems and implement sustainable remediation.
- Produce technical designs, implementation plans, test plans and SOPs.
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer.
- Azure DevOps and Azure Pipelines.
- Sensitivity labels, label policies and Data Loss Prevention.
- Azure Virtual Desktop and FSLogix.
- Windows 11 and Microsoft Intune.
- Configuration Manager and Group Policy.
- PowerShell and Git.
- Endpoint management, security and compliance.
- Enterprise application deployment and patching.
- Level 3 engineering and operational support.

Working Arrangements

The role is primarily onsite in Canberra. Working from home may be considered case by case, subject to operational requirements. Fully remote candidates are not suitable.
