We have an opportunity for an experienced and licensed Electrician to join our established team of more than 30 qualified tradespeople.

n

You'll work alongside our maintenance crews on critical port equipment including Ship-to-Shore cranes, spreaders and associated electrical and materials-handling equipment.

n

About the role

n

This is a newly created Guaranteed Weekly Earner (GWE) position supporting the 24/7 maintenance operation at Port Botany.

n

The role has been established to provide planned and unplanned relief coverage across our maintenance crews, including annual leave, absences and other operational requirements.

n

This position would suit an Electrician looking for permanent employment, excellent rates and flexibility, while gaining exposure to a specialised heavy industrial maintenance environment.

n

As Port Botany operates 24/7, flexibility across day, night and weekend shifts is an important requirement of the position.

n





Essential criteria for this role:

n

n
- Minimum four years' experience as a licensed Electrician
n
- Solid electrical maintenance experience within heavy industry, infrastructure or a related environment
n
- Demonstrated experience in electrical isolations, fault finding and diagnostics
n
- Current driver's licence
n
- Construction Induction Card (White Card)
n
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
n
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and flex screen
n

- Certificate IV in Industrial Electronics and Controls
n
- PLC, SCADA and VSD experience
n
- EWP >11m

- Low Voltage Rescue
