We offer co-education on our P-4 Del Monte Campus and girls only on our 5-12 Santa Sabina Campus. Our outdoor education campus, Tallong, is located on 97 hectares in the Southern Highlands. Our Early Education Centre (Mary Bailey House) and Out of School Hours (OOSH) services are located in the grounds of the Primary (Del Monte) Campus.

The College is seeking an experienced and passionate professional in the newly created Associate Artist (Pianoforte) role

Position Permanent : Full-Time (1.0FTE) or Part-Time(0.8FTE) by negotiation

Commencement Date: Term 4 2026 - or later by negotiation

Hours and Days of Work: Flexible on-site hours to be negotiated with the Director of Music P-12

The successful candidate will:





- support the Catholic Dominican Mission of the College and promote the prayer life of the College
- have and understanding of Music curriculum requirements for all NESA and IBDP Music courses
- be a collaborative practitioner who can work with a range of teams
- be an accomplished concert pianist/collaborative artist with outstanding musicianship and exceptional sight reading ability
- demonstrate commitment to inspiring and developing young performers

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a panel interview. As part of the interview, candidates will complete a live performance and mentoring demonstration, including:

- Sight-reading task relevant to ensemble or studio repertoire;
- A short mentoring interaction with a student in a ‘lesson demonstration’ format.

This component is designed to assess artistic excellence, cooperative fluency, rehearsal responsiveness, pedagogical awareness and communication skills.
