Job Description

We are a not for profit community based preschool open Tuesday to Thursday during NSW school terms. We are a beautiful rural preschool with 20 children enrolled per day. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated educator to join our team. Great working hours during school terms.

Qualifications & experience

n

Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved courses only)

n

Current First Aid Certificate in an Education and Care Setting -including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.

n

Current NSW Working with Children Check.

n

Current National Police Check.

n

Current Child Protection Training.

n

Completed Mandatory Child Safety Training.

n

Two current and relevant early childhood references.

n

We are a child safe service. Prohibited people need not apply.

Tasks & responsibilities

n





Ability to work as a team member.

n

To be the responsible person when Director is absent or on leave.

n

Good verbal and written communication skills.

n

Extensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.

n

Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.

n

Experience with working with children aged from 3 to 5 years.

n

Observe, document, and assess children's learning and development.

n

Complete learning cycles and maintain educational documentation.

n

Plan for and actively support an inclusive learning setting.

n
