Responsibilities - Graduates

Core responsibilities include:

- Planning and implementing a range of teaching programs or courses of study
- Teaching an area of the curriculum or a general curriculum to a year level
- Monitoring, evaluating and reporting student progress in key learning areas
- Implementing strategies to achieve targets related to student learning outcomes
- Maintaining records of class attendance and recording student progress
- Implementing effective student management consistent with the school charter.
- Working with a mentor to participate in professional development planning, implementation and reflection developing a professional portfolio

Additional responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

- Supervising a range of student activities including support and welfare programs

In 2026 our enrolment number is 629 with 27 classes. The staffing profile comprises of 32.2 fulltime equivalent Range 2 teachers and 4.4 equivalent Range 1 teachers. There are 8.4 full-time equivalent Education Support personnel which includes classroom integration, office administration, maintenance and first aid staff. The leadership profile consists of one Principal, two Assistant Principals, two Learning Specialists and one Leading Teacher. The leadership team is focussed on school improvement and together this team is responsible for leading change and improvement to achieve school goals and targets.
Specialist subjects include Physical Education, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, (STEAM for P-2), and Languages-Mandarin.
