We are looking for an experienced Family Lawyer who wishes to progress in their career, be intellectually challenged and stimulated and be surrounded by an amazing thinktank and collegiate atmosphere. The position is offered at Senior Associate or Special Counsel and we will also consider Partner at the firm for the right candidate.
You will get full autonomy over your own files, a genuine say in how the firm is run, and colleagues who will actually challenge and support you, not just say they will. If you would like to broaden your practice, our Estate Planning and Deceased Estates work and Care and Protection work, means you can mix jurisdictions, or stay purely in family law. Your choice.

The role
- End-to-end carriage of private family law matters (property and children's matters)
- Appearing at mentions, interim hearings, dispute resolution conferences and other court events
- Full file management, reporting directly to the Partners
What you will need
- Bachelor of Laws, or equivalent
- Admission to the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court roll
- 5+ years' post-admission experience (more experienced candidates strongly encouraged to apply)
What we're looking for
- Strong time management and the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication, written and oral
- Family Law Accredited Specialisation, or working towards it (desirable)
- Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner accreditation (desirable)
- Experience in Care & Protection (desirable)
