Trusted by over 10,000 patients, Sapphire Family Medical Practice has particular expertise in women’s health, pediatrics, mental health, menopause management, weight loss, and complex conditions including chronic fatigue.

Role Description The General Practitioner will provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care, including history taking, physical examinations, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting consultations, ordering and interpreting investigations, prescribing medications, coordinating care with onsite nursing and pathology services, and maintaining accurate clinical records. The role involves providing specialized care in areas such as women’s health, pediatrics, mental health, menopause management, weight management, and complex chronic conditions. The practitioner will also contribute to preventive health initiatives, patient education,



and practice quality improvement activities. This is a contract, hybrid role based in Sydney, NSW, with a mix of in-clinic work at Bondi Junction and some work-from-home for appropriate administrative and telehealth tasks.

Qualifications

- Strong clinical skills and knowledge in Medicine and Primary Care, with experience managing a broad range of acute and chronic conditions.
- Demonstrated expertise in Family Medicine, including care across the lifespan and a focus on women’s health, pediatrics, and mental health.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Nursing staff and other allied health professionals in a team-based care environment.
- Experience in Training, mentoring, or supervising medical or clinical staff is desirable.
- VR FRACGP and full registration with AHPRA as a General Practitioner;
- Experience in a general practice or primary care setting, ideally within an accredited practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient-centered, culturally sensitive care.
- Comfort with using clinical software, electronic medical records, and telehealth platforms.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to a hybrid working setting.
