Rocktown is seeking experienced Welders for immediate start.
Must have a minimum three years verifiable experience in the trade, performing the following duties -

- use of manual or semi automatic welding processes to construct and repair
- interpreting technical drawings to determine job requirements and materials to be used
- selecting and setting up machinery according to job specifications
- checking for defects
- repairing worn parts
- cleaning and degreasing metals
- cutting, trimming and scarfing metal
- removal of excess weld, slag or spatter
- identifying metal type and thickness
- designing and creating templates
- working in a safe and clean workplace setting

This is a full time permanent position with a starting salary of $80,000 plus superannuation.
