We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our mining team.

This role is for a top tier miner & are to start November based in Port Hedland on an 8/6 but must be open to different rosters when required. The central projects are all related to Track Renewals Project Management and Rail Execution.

As a Logistics Coordinator, you'll play a key role in keeping the Rail Renewals operation moving safely and efficiently.

You'll be responsible for:

- Coordinating people, plant, equipment and materials
- Supporting rail renewal activities and daily logistics
- Maintaining clear communication across crews and operations
- Planning and coordinating movements and deliveries
- Identifying and managing operational risks
- Working closely with supervisors, contractors and site teams
- Putting safety first - every shift, every task

We want someone who:

- Has strong logistics and coordination skills
- Understands the demands of a mining/rail environment
- Can work under pressure and make sound operational decisions
- Communicates clearly and confidently
- Is proactive and solutions-focused
- Leads by example when it comes to safety

Preferred experience/systems

- Previous logistics, transport coordination, planning, or operational coordination experience within mining, rail, or construction
- SAP/1SAP experience preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Experience coordinating personnel, plant, equipment,



and material movements across multiple work fronts

- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- High attention to detail and strong safety focus

Other relevant information

- Flexibility is essential as roster extensions and changes are sometimes required to support operational requirements and leave coverage
- The role acts as a key coordination point between supervisors, crews, contractors, suppliers, and support functions
- Experience in a mining or rail environment would be highly regarded
