This isn’t a role where you’ll disappear into a large consulting hierarchy or spend your days producing slide decks that never get implemented.

You’ll work directly with clients, help shape their Data & AI strategy, solve complex problems, design solutions and work alongside our technical team to make sure what we recommend actually gets delivered.

We’re looking for someone who can comfortably move between the boardroom and the technical team.

- Lead Data & AI strategy and advisory engagements
- Facilitate workshops with executives and senior stakeholders
- Translate business problems into practical data and technology solutions
- Develop data strategies,



roadmaps and operating models
- Advise clients on data governance, analytics and AI adoption
- Help organisations identify and prioritise high-value AI use cases
- Shape modern data platforms and architectures
- Work with technologies including Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, Power BI and modern data engineering tooling
- Support proposals, solution design and client presentations
- Mentor consultants and contribute to how Datalynk delivers its work
- Build long-term, trusted relationships with our clients

What we’re looking for

You’ll probably have 10+ years' experience across data, analytics, technology or consulting, with several years operating at a senior or principal level.

More importantly, you’ll be able to demonstrate that you can:

- Walk into a room with a CFO, CIO or executive team and lead the conversation
- Understand the commercial problem before jumping to the technology
- Explain complex technical concepts in simple language
- Create strategies that can actually be implemented
- Understand contemporary data architecture, governance, BI and AI
- Challenge clients constructively when required
- Take ownership rather than wait for instructions
- Build confidence and trust with senior stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with engineers, analysts and consultants
- Deliver exceptionally high-quality work

Deep technical expertise in every platform isn’t required, but you need enough technical depth to credibly design solutions,



challenge technical teams and understand how the pieces fit together.
