We are looking for a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our growing team.

Prestige Contracting Services works across a range of commercial, industrial and modular building projects, giving our apprentices exposure to much more than basic domestic electrical work.

n

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn the trade properly, work alongside experienced electricians and build a long-term career with a growing company.

Electrical Apprentice – 1st to 4th Year

About the Role

n

You will be involved in a variety of electrical works including:

n

n
- Commercial and industrial electrical installations
n
- Modular and transportable building fit-outs
n
- Switchboards and distribution boards
n
- Lighting and power installations
n
- Cable tray, conduit and cable installation
n
- Submains and mains cabling
n
- Testing and commissioning
n
- Fault finding
n
- General electrical construction work
n

n

You will work alongside licensed electricians and experienced tradespeople who will help develop your skills throughout your apprenticeship.

What We're Looking For

n

We are looking for someone who:

n

n
- Is currently completing an electrical apprenticeship or looking to commence one
n




- Has a genuine interest in becoming a qualified electrician
n
- Is reliable and turns up on time
n
- Has a good attitude and willingness to learn
n
- Can work well as part of a team
n
- Takes pride in their work
n
- Is comfortable working in a quick-paced construction environment
n
- Holds a current driver's licence or is working towards one
n
- Has a White Card
n

n

Previous electrical or construction experience is an advantage but not essential for the right person.

n
