Greengrove Indoor Plant Hire is a family-owned Brisbane business that provides indoor plant hire and maintenance to offices, restaurants and commercial spaces across Brisbane.

We're looking for a reliable, conscientious person to join our team as an Indoor Plant Technician.

n

We're primarily looking for someone available full-time. We're also open to someone starting four days per week, with the willingness to move to five days as the role grows.

n

Previous indoor plant experience isn't essential. We're happy to train someone with the right attitude.

n

About the Role

n

As an Indoor Plant Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining indoor plants at a regular group of client sites across Brisbane.

n

Your day will include:

- Watering and caring for indoor plants
n
- Cleaning and pruning plants
n
- Monitoring plant health and treating pests where required
n
- Rotating and replacing plants when needed
n
- Keeping displays looking healthy, tidy and professional
n
- Providing friendly, reliable service to our clients
n

n

Once trained, you'll spend most of your day working independently, following regular service schedules and taking ownership of your work.

n

The role offers a good balance of independence and routine. You'll travel between different workplaces, while returning to the same client sites on a regular cycle.

n

All equipment and full training are provided.

n

Experience with plants, gardening or horticulture is an advantage, but it isn't essential. We're happy to teach the right person.

You'll also need:

- A current Australian driver's licence, with a manual licence strongly preferred
n
- Australian work rights
n
- A reasonable level of fitness, as the role involves lifting, bending and moving plants
n

What We Offer

n

We have a clear and transparent pay progression structure. The role starts at $33.48/hr casual during the 3 month training and probation period. After probation, the permanent base rate is $26.78/hr, with five $1/hr progression milestones available up to $31.78/hr ($39.73/hr casual equivalent), plus a $400 monthly performance bonus.
