Springs Medical is looking for passionate Primary Care Nurses to join our experienced and supportive team across our Daylesford, Kyneton, and Trentham sites.

n

Candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience.

n

As a key part of our multidisciplinary team, you'll work alongside GPs, specialists, allied health professionals, and admin staff to help deliver over 90,000 occasions of care each year. Our 18-strong nurse team brings expertise in areas such as chronic disease management, diabetes education, aged care, wound care, and immunisations.

Key Qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills:

n

AHPRA Registration

n

Experience in the primary health care sector - highly desirable:

n

Accredited Nurse Immuniser - highly desirable.



(Accredited Nurse Immuniser or working toward)

n

Proven ability to work as a highly effective member of a team including as part of a diverse group of allied and health care professionals

n

Ability to provide clinical leadership and nurturing to medical and nurse students and GP Registrars.

n

Sound knowledge of the general practice workplace and its relationship to the broader health sector and local community.

n

Demonstrated patient – focused approach to service provision.

n

Outstanding interpersonal, communication and team work skills including written, verbal and negotiation skills.

n

A commitment to and experience in a continuing quality improvement approach to maintaining accreditation.

n

A commitment to ongoing professional development. It is a requirement to participate in relevant CPD activities pursuant with National Registration requirements including annual CPR

n

Australian citizenship or permanent residency status is required for this position.
