Customer Due Diligence Officer

Are you detail-oriented and passionate about compliance and financial crime prevention? As an Customer Due Diligence Officer, you'll assist with customer verification, risk assessments, transaction monitoring, and maintaining accurate customer records. You'll work closely with Members, internal teams, and AML specialists to ensure compliance requirements are met while delivering a positive Member experience.

This is a part‑time position (20 hours per week) within a friendly, collaborative, and rapid‑paced environment.

What You’ll Bring
To be successful, you'll ideally have:

Experience in banking, financial services, or a customer-focused environment.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with Members and internal stakeholders.
Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems and processes.
The ability to analyse information, identify potential risks, and escalate issues when required.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Criminology, or a related field (desirable).
AML/CTF or compliance-related certifications (desirable).
