SustainHealth are currently working with a growing allied health practice in Western Sydney to find an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for a clinician who enjoys staying hands-on clinically, while also taking on a genuine mentoring and supervision role with newer OTs.

About the role
The position will offer a mix of clinic-based and mobile/community work, with a growing focus on supporting adult clients.

You'll work across a varied caseload while also providing guidance and supervision to new graduate and junior Occupational Therapists within the team.

The role is expected to be approximately:

- 50% clinical/client-facing work
- 50% supervision, mentoring and supporting junior clinicians

As the practice continues to expand its adult services, there will be an chance to develop a mixed caseload, with the balance of adult work increasing over time.

Your day-to-day work may include:

- Providing Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention to adult clients
- Working across both clinic and mobile/community environments
- Supporting clients with a range of functional and everyday living needs
- Completing clinical reports, documentation and other written requirements
- Providing clinical supervision and mentoring to new graduate OTs
- Collaborating with the wider allied health team, including Physio, Speech, Dietetics and Psychology




- Contributing to the continued growth and development of the adult service

About you
We're looking for an experienced OT who is ready to step into a senior position and enjoys helping other clinicians develop.

You'll ideally have:

- Strong experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience working with adult clients
- Confidence mentoring or supervising junior/new graduate OTs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong report-writing and documentation skills
- The ability to work independently across clinic and community settings
- Current AHPRA registration
- Full Australian working rights
