About the Role:
We are seeking a Radiographer (Medical Imaging Practitioner) for a permanent full time position within a busy hospital radiology department in Launceston, TAS. This growing department performs over 70,000 examinations annually and is staffed 24/7, with early to midlife equipment that is constantly being updated, including 2 new CT scanners and 5 new ultrasound units. You will perform general and fluoroscopic imaging examinations producing images of the highest diagnostic value, ensuring compliance with the ALARA principle at all times. Supported by a dedicated and collaborative management, education and quality team including preceptors, this is an excellent opportunity for new graduates ready for their first role through to experienced radiographers.
- Salary: $81,614 - $117,074 per annum + 12% superannuation
- Location: Launceston, Tasmania
- Employment: Permanent full-time, fully rotational shift work, 76 hours per fortnight (mix of shiftwork and on-call)
- Salary packaging: up to $9,010 living expenses + $2,650 meal entertainment each FBT year
- Professional Development Allowance of up to $1,000 per annum
- Relocation assistance up to $15,000 for overseas appointees or $10,000 interstate

About You:
- Registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (essential)
- New graduates ready for their first role encouraged to apply
- Competence in general and fluoroscopic radiography
- Strong commitment to radiation safety and the ALARA principle
- Ability to work a fully rotational 24/7 roster including on-call
- Strong communication, teamwork and patient care skills
- Eligible to work in Australia
