The Role

As part of the business's continued growth in Queensland, an opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and proactive Senior Civil Designer to join the team, reporting to the QLD Manager.

You'll manage the delivery of all design aspects of your projects, developing detailed designs and documentation using 12D and AutoCAD, and working closely with key clients and stakeholders throughout delivery.

Projects will span both urban and land development.

This is a excellent opportunity to take a leading technical role within a business that's investing in building out its Queensland team.

The Responsibilities

- Manage the delivery of all design aspects of projects, on time and to standard.
- Develop detailed designs and documentation using 12D and AutoCAD.
- Undertake regular interface and liaison with key clients and stakeholders.




- Apply safety in design practices and processes throughout delivery.
- Lead and deliver multiple projects concurrently.

The Requirements

This role suits an experienced civil designer who's ready to take a leading technical role. In return, you'll be able to demonstrate:

- 7 years + industry experience within an Australian engineering design consultancy, preferably within Queensland.
- Drainage experience highly regarded.
- Proficient in 12D and AutoCAD.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly report writing.
- Experience leading and delivering multiple projects.
- Excellent knowledge of the Queensland market, Australian Standards and Council design standards.
- Good understanding of Service Authority design approval and construction standards.
