About the role:

This is a clinically focused support role within a specialist optometry practice. Your skills will be respected and valued by both patients and clinicians, and your contribution directly impacts patient outcomes. You will be actively involved in clinical pre-testing, specialty contact lens care, and patient education. This is far beyond a standard dispensing position. This is an 80% specialty contact lenses and 20% glasses practice (inverse of a normal practice).

About You:

• This is an interesting and challenging role for an optical dispenser with at least 12 months optical experience (on the job training will be provided)
• Team player who loves patient interaction and enjoys working with children and adults
• You will need to have a car and drivers license as the practice is not close by public transport
• Gain insight and understanding of the medical/clinical side of optometry beyond just glasses
