About the Role We're looking for an experienced and passionate Educational Leader to join this established 60-place service and take ownership of educational practice across the centre.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Diploma-qualified educator who is passionate about pedagogy, mentoring educators, and driving continuous improvement. You'll work closely with educators across all rooms, supporting them to develop high-quality programs, strengthen their practice, and create meaningful learning experiences for children from Nursery through to Preschool.

You'll be joining a supportive, close-knit team with plenty of long-standing staff and hands-on owners who genuinely value and invest in their educators.
As the Educational Leader, you will:

- Lead and support educational practice across the entire service
- Mentor and guide educators across all rooms, helping to build their confidence and professional capability
- Support educators with programming, observations, documentation, planning, and critical reflection




- Ensure educational programs are meaningful, engaging, inclusive, and aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework
- Promote a strong culture of continuous improvement and reflective practice
- Work collaboratively with room leaders and educators to identify opportunities to strengthen learning outcomes
- Support the team to understand and implement the service philosophy and educational approach
- Encourage educators to build strong relationships with children and families
- Monitor the quality of educational programs and provide constructive feedback and guidance
- Stay up to date with current early childhood research, pedagogy, legislation, and best practice
- Work closely with the Centre Director and leadership team on quality improvement initiatives
- Support the service in preparing for and maintaining high standards across the National Quality Standards
- Act as a positive role model and champion a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and ongoing learning
- Remain actively involved in the children's learning environment and support educators where required

What You'll Need

- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification
- Previous experience as an Educational Leader, Room Leader, Lead Educator, or similar senior position
- Strong knowledge and practical application of the Early Years Learning Framework
- Sound understanding of the National Quality Standards and relevant Education and Care Services regulations
- Demonstrated experience mentoring and supporting educators
- Strong programming, documentation, critical reflection, and pedagogical knowledge
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A passion for developing educators and driving high-quality educational outcomes
- Confidence working collaboratively with educators and leadership across all rooms
- A genuine commitment to children's safety, wellbeing, and child-safe practices
- Current NSW Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification (ACECQA-approved)
- Child Protection Training
- Food Handling Certificate
- Completed Gecko Training
