Hillcroft Farms Pty Ltd is an integrated piggery and agricultural enterprise located in Lol Gray, Western Australia. The business operates agricultural production and feed milling operations and is seeking an experienced Stationary Plant Operator to join its team.

About the Role

The Stationary Plant Operator will be responsible for operating and monitoring stationary plant and equipment used across the farm's feed milling, grain handling and agricultural operations. The role requires practical plant operation skills, mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate and maintain equipment in a rural working setting.
Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor feed milling equipment, including mixers, pellet mills, crushers, conveyors and blowers.
- Operate grain handling systems, including augers, silos, grain dryers and storage bins.
- Perform routine servicing, maintenance and minor mechanical repairs on stationary plant and associated equipment.
- Operate fertiliser blending equipment used for crop production.
- Adjust plant settings to maintain production and quality standards.
- Monitor plant performance and identify and report faults or malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate records of production inputs, outputs and equipment operations.




- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a protected working environment.
- Assist with general farm operations when required, particularly during peak periods.

Essential Requirements
- Previous experience operating stationary plant or similar agricultural processing equipment.
- Experience with feed mills, grain handling systems or related agricultural machinery.
- Sound mechanical aptitude and the ability to identify and address basic equipment faults.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a rural environment.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to undertake physically demanding work and work in varying agricultural conditions.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in a feed mill, grain handling facility, farm or piggery environment.
- Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one.
- Experience with agricultural production equipment and machinery.
- Relevant plant operation, mechanical or agricultural qualifications.
