Position Details

- Employment: Permanent Part-Time
- Locations: Albany Creek, Enoggera, Kedron, Alderley, The Gap, McDowall and surrounding suburbs
- Hours: We are currently seeking candidates available to work around 30 - 40 hours per fortnight.
- Availability: You must be available to work 3–4 days per week, Monday to Friday, between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. Shifts may range from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Shifts: Typically 1–3 hours per client, with travel between multiple clients throughout the day.
- Remuneration: Minimum Level 2.1 – $36.22 per hour + superannuation + NFP salary packaging. Salary packaging of up to $18,550 + paid travel time + kilometre reimbursement + paid training + Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
- Shift Type: 80% or more of your shifts will involve Domestic Assistance, along with Social Support and Personal Care.

We are currently seeking Permanent Part time Support Workers to provide quality, person-centred support to QCSS clients in their own homes across Brisbane’s northern suburbs.

About QCSS:
The Queensland Community Support Scheme (QCSS) supports people to live independently and stay connected with their community.
As a Support Worker, you will provide flexible, non-clinical support that promotes choice, dignity, independence and wellbeing.

Your Responsibilities May Include:

- Providing domestic assistance, including cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- Supporting clients to maintain independence and achieve their personal goals
- Facilitating social and community participation through companionship and outings




- Transporting clients and assisting with shopping, errands and appointments using your own vehicle
- Building respectful, trusting relationships while promoting dignity, choice, privacy and independence

We Are Looking For Caring and Reliable Support Workers Who:

- Hold a Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Community Services or a related field; or
- Have experience in support work, cleaning, hospitality or similar roles
- Have a genuine passion for supporting people to live independently, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Are caring, reliable and respectful, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Role Requirements:

- Australian working rights
- Current Australian Driver Licence – Open or Green P Plates
- Current Queensland motor vehicle registration
- Access to a reliable, insured and roadworthy vehicle

Willing to obtain

- A Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Check
- First Aid and CPR certification
