Job Description

We are looking for a System Analyst to join our Diversified Platforms team and support the applications that enable HCF's life insurance, payments and shared services operations. This is a varied application support and delivery role where you will help keep critical applications running effectively while contributing to system enhancements, defect fixes, software releases and current product initiatives.

Responsibilities

- Support One Office and other shared-service applications across HCF's diversified platforms
n
- Monitor system batches and investigate production incidents
n
- Provide first-level application and production support
n
- Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve system issues
n
- Analyse system requirements and assess impacts for new and enhanced applications
n
- Design practical system solutions aligned with business requirements and solution architecture
n
- Contribute to defect fixes, enhancements, releases, testing and implementation activities
n
- Support project initiatives,



including new product launches
n
- Maintain system availability, data integrity and accurate reporting
n
- Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and effectiveness
n

Required Skills

n

n
- At least two to three years' experience in systems analysis, application support, production support roles.
n
- Intermediate SQL capability, including the ability to investigate data and troubleshoot system issues
n
- Some SSIS exposure will be advantageous
n
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting and debugging skills
n
- Experience supporting distributed applications, including cloud-based applications
n
- Understanding of relational databases, SOA, REST or web services and client-server technologies
n
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and Agile or Scrum delivery practices
n
- Experience using Jira and Confluence
