About the role

We are seeking an experienced High Performance Manager to join ACE Performance in Fairfield, VIC. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial strategic role in driving the success of our high-performance training programmes and services. You will oversee the delivery of elite training services, manage key performance metrics, and ensure our clients receive world-class coaching and support. This role is essential to maintaining ACE Performance's reputation as a premier fitness and performance facility and will directly impact our business growth and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

- Oversee the daily operations of high-performance training programmes for development through to professional level athletes and ensure consistent delivery of excellence across all client services
- Manage and mentor a team of fitness professionals and coaches, providing guidance, support and performance feedback
- Develop and implement strategic training protocols tailored to individual client needs and performance goals
- Monitor client progress through data analysis, assessments and evaluations, making adjustments to programmes as necessary
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and ACE Performance policies and procedures
- Identify opportunities for programme enhancement and innovation, staying current with the latest fitness and performance trends
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to maximise operational efficiency and programme profitability




- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing concerns and ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
- Contribute to the development of marketing strategies and promotional activities to attract current high-performance clients
- Report on key performance indicators and programme outcomes to senior management

What we're looking for

- Minimum 5 years' experience in fitness management, high-performance coaching, or a related role within the sport and recreation industry
- Recognised qualification in fitness instruction, personal training, or sports science from a nationally accredited body
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and delivering high-quality client services
- Strong knowledge of training methodologies, exercise physiology, and performance optimisation techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate both staff and clients
- Proficiency in fitness management software, data analysis and performance tracking tools
- Proven ability to manage budgets and drive business performance
- Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain it
- A passion for fitness, wellness and helping others achieve their performance goals
- Preferred: Experience with elite athlete training, sports conditioning, or high-performance facility management
