Happy Inn Australia is seeking a Housekeeping team member to join our hotel in Wagga Wagga, NSW. This is a casual position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic hospitality team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, comfort and overall appearance of our hotel facilities, ensuring that every guest enjoys a pleasant and welcoming stay. Key responsibilities

- Clean and prepare guest rooms and bathrooms to the highest standards, including changing bed linens, vacuuming, dusting and sanitising surfaces
n
- Maintain common areas such as hallways, lobbies, lounges and recreational spaces
n
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities, supplies or assistance
n
- Report any maintenance issues, damage or safety concerns to management immediately
n
- Stock and replenish guest room supplies, including toiletries, towels and other amenities
n
- Follow all health, safety and hygiene protocols, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
n
- Work efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes
n
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanour when interacting with guests and colleagues
n
- Assist with special cleaning projects and deep cleaning as required
n

What we're looking for

n
- Previous experience in housekeeping, hotel cleaning or a similar hospitality cleaning role is highly desirable
n
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
n




- Physical fitness and stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift heavy items safely
n
- Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional approach to guest interaction
n
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials and equipment, including protected handling of chemical products
n
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to health and safety regulations
n
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends as required
n
- A valid Police Clearance Certificate or willingness to obtain one
n
