Key Responsibilities

- Completescheduledservicing,logbookmaintenanceandmechanicalrepairs
- Diagnosevehiclefaultsusingmodernscantoolsanddiagnosticequipment
- Carryoutmechanicalinspectionsandidentifyfaultsaccurately
- Repairandmaintainavarietyofvehiclemakesandmodels
- Followmanufacturerservicingandrepairrequirements
- Recordcompletedworkclearlyandaccurately
- Explainidentifiedvehicleissuesandcompletedrepairstocustomerswhenrequired
- Maintainhighstandardsofworkmanship,efficiencyandworkshopsafety
- Workeffectivelywithothertechniciansandworkshopstaff
- Useworkshoptools,equipmentanddiagnosticsystemsresponsibly

Requirements & Eligibility

- TradequalificationinLightVehicleMechanicalTechnologyoranequivalentrecognisedqualification
- Minimum3yearsofpost-apprenticeshipautomotiveexperience




- Demonstratedhands-onexperienceacrossdifferentvehiclemakesandmodels
- Strongmechanicaldiagnosisandfault-findingability
- Practicalexperiencewithmodernautomotivescananddiagnostictools
- Abilitytoprovidegenuineevidenceofqualificationsandemploymenthistory
- Reliableandprofessionalapproachtoautomotivework
- Abilitytoworkeffectivelybothindependentlyandwithinateam
- CurrentAustralianDriver'sLicenceoreligibilitytoobtainone
