Florafolia is a wholesale plant nursery based in Alstonville, Northern NSW, growing tropical foliage, indoor plants and advanced trees sold across Australia. We were recently awarded the Best Plant Production Nursery in NSW and we are looking for a Nursery Hand to help us maintain and build on this.

Qualifications & experience

n

n
- Experience working in a production nursery environment preferred
n
- Great work ethic – positive, reliable, punctual, and proactive
n
- Physically fit and high energy
n
- Exceptional attention to detail
n
- Team player
n
- Able to follow processes and direction to carry out desired tasks
n




- Horticultural qualifications desirable but not essential
n
- Enjoys working outside, all year round
n
- Current drivers licence
n
- Car licence (C class) required
n
- Australian work rights required for this position
n

Tasks & responsibilities

n

n
- Planting plants on our various planting machines
n
- Growing & maintaining high quality plants
n
- Preparing growing areas for new plants to go down
n
- Picking plants for customer orders
n
- Preparing plants for sale, with a focus on detail
n
- Weeding
n

- Full time roles are available Monday to Friday, up to 38 hours per week.
n
- Pay will be commensurate with qualifications and experience within the Nursery Award. We have a weekly BBQ lunch and every permanent team member gets a paid birthday day off.
