WS Remedial Group is seeking a motivated Undergraduate Assistant Accountant to join our growing team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting or commerce student looking to gain practical experience while completing their degree.

n

The position is 24 hours per week, worked across mutually agreed days. You will work closely with our Accounts team and support the day-to-day financial administration of a busy construction business operating across Queensland and Recent South Wales.

Undergraduate Assistant Accountant - Part-Time

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Assisting with accounts payable and receivable
n
- Processing invoices, purchase orders and expense claims
n
- Completing data entry and maintaining accurate financial records
n
- Assisting with bank and account reconciliations
n
- Supporting payroll and general accounts administration
n
- Preparing spreadsheets, reports and supporting documentation
n
- Following up outstanding financial information when required
n




- Assisting the Accounts team with other duties as needed
n

About you

n

n
- Currently studying a Bachelor of Accounting, Commerce or a related qualification
n
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
n
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
n
- Good written and verbal communication skills
n
- Organised and able to manage competing priorities
n
- Willing to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks
n
- Previous accounts or administration experience is desirable but not essential
n
- Construction industry experience would be advantageous
n
