The role

- Full Time, Fixed Term (up to 24 December 2026)
- Level 4 - $ 73,230 to $ 79,494pa (plus 17% superannuation)
- Port Macquarie (On site)

As a Residence Support Officer, you’ll provide essential administrative and operational support to the Residence Life team, helping coordinate student accommodation across the University. You’ll manage accommodation allocations, room changes, vacancies, bookings, charges, keys and reporting, while responding to student enquiries and ensuring consistently high-quality, client-focused service.

You’ll also play an important role in supporting the residential community, working with Resident Leaders, internal teams and external providers to coordinate services and programs. You’ll contribute to reporting, minor projects and continuous improvement of systems and processes, while assisting with crisis response, triage and referral under the guidance of senior staff.

About you

- Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience working with young people and an understanding of their needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a student-focused approach
- Confident working independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook

The appointment is conditional upon the successful applicant producing, satisfying and maintaining a First Aid certificate, and a “Working with Children Check”, in accordance with the Commission for Children and Young People Act (NSW).
