As an Acute Mental Health Registered Nurse, you will:

• Deliver safe, evidence-based mental health nursing care
• Conduct comprehensive mental health and risk assessments
• Support consumers experiencing acute mental health conditions and crises
• Develop, implement and evaluate person-centred care plans
• Monitor and document changes in consumer presentation and wellbeing




• Administer medications and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Utilise therapeutic communication and de-escalation techniques
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary mental health teams to achieve positive outcomes

Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
• Minimum 12 months recent Acute Mental Health nursing experience
• Experience within inpatient and acute mental health settings
• Strong risk assessment, crisis intervention and de-escalation skills
• Excellent communication and therapeutic engagement skills
• Current National Police Check
• Full Australian working rights
