Lead a major digital transformation programme that will reshape VIT's online experience.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager, Website Reform to lead the end-to-end delivery of VIT's website reform program and drive digital transformative across the organisation.

About the role

Reporting to the Director Stakeholder Engagement and Communications, you will provide strategic leadership, project governance and delivery oversight for the development of VIT's website.

You will lead the program across the full project lifecycle, including procurement, vendor management, user centred design, content transformation, technical implementation, testing, deployment and transition to ongoing service delivery.

This is an opportunity to lead a high-profile transformation program that will modernise VIT's digital presence and improve the experience of teachers, education stakeholders and the Victorian community.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the planning, governance and end-to-in delivery of the website reform program.
- Manage project scope, budget, risks, issues, dependencies and benefits realisation
- Lead procurement activities and manage third party suppliers across design, development, UX, testing and hosting.
- Coordinate business and technical requirements across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Lead organisational change, business readiness and implementation activities.
- Oversee content transformation migration and governance.
- Manage the integration of legislative, policy and technical changes into digital services.
- Ensure the recent website is accessible, secure, user-focused and aligned with organisational priorities.

About you

You are an experienced project manager with strong background in digital transformation, website redevelopment or large-scale technology projects.





You bring the ability to lead complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, suppliers and business areas, while maintaining robust governance, commercial oversight and delivery discipline.

- Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing external vendors and complex supplier relationships.
- Strong commercial judgement and experience working with procurement and contractual requirements.
- The ability to translate business regulatory and technical requirements into practical delivery outcomes.
