About the Role

Tanuki Restaurant is seeking an experienced Trade Waiter to join its front-of-house team. This role is suited to a service-focused professional who can contribute to delivering a high standard of food and beverage service while ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide efficient and professional table service, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times;
- Take and process food and beverage orders accurately;
- Liaise with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and coordinated service;
- Set up and clear tables in accordance with service and presentation standards;
- Welcome and seat guests, providing menus and explaining offerings when required;




- Offer informed recommendations on menu items, beverages, and specials;
- Monitor guest needs throughout service, including refilling beverages and addressing requests;
- Process customer payments using POS systems;
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining and service areas;
- Follow all workplace health, safety, and hygiene procedures.

About You

- At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Waiter or similar role;
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills;
- Professional presentation and attitude;
- Availability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Employment Details

- Position: Full-time, Permanent
- Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per year
