Our Client, BS Cabs Pty Ltd T/A Khalsa Motors & Mobile Roadworthy is actively seeking an experienced and highly skilled Motor Mechanic to join dedicated team. In this key role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, implementing innovative repair and maintenance solutions, and consistently prioritizing customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise across various areas of automotive repair and maintenance, with a strong commitment to teamwork and contributing to collaborative, supportive work environment.

Location: 3/11 Belvedere Dr, Park Ridge QLD 4125.

Key Responsibilities:

- Repair or replace broken, worn, or dysfunctional parts such as brake pads, wheel bearings etc. and test and reassembles components.
- Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a variety of different brands of vehicles in compliance with manufacturer’s guidelines and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Test and repair electrical systems such as lighting, instrumentation, ignition, and electronic fuel injection. Inspect mechanisms of engine, transmissions, steering, or other components including dismantling and reassembling of engine parts.
- High attention to detail and ability to read and understand instructions.
- Provide accurate estimates of cost, time,



and effort for a repair or maintenance job.
- Re-lines and adjusts brakes and perform wheel alignments.
- Test and re-adjust to ensure repairs and maintenance are effective using testing equipment prior to hand over to client.
- Dealing with customers on a day-to-day basis and performing duties in a timely and accurate manner.
- Dealing with suspensions, brakes, air conditioning, coolant and more on passenger cars.
- Maintain equipment and tools in positive condition.
- Identifying vehicle complications through the use of specific computer programs and scanning tools.
- Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components such as transmissions, suspensions, steering, brakes etc. to diagnose issues accurately.
- Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, giving tune-ups, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires.

Requirements:

·Minimum 1 year experience as a Motor Mechanic is required.

·A minimum qualification of Certificate III.

·Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components.

·Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical issues.

·Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

·Relevant certifications and qualifications in motor mechanics.

·Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Salary Range: $75,000-$90,000 Per Annum Plus Superannuation
